Are you tired of getting cold calls, cold emails, and Linkedin messages? Here's how to setup with the Pitchfire's Outlook Inbox Add In.

About Pitchfire's Outlook Inbox Add-In

On average, you'll get solicited by sales people at least 780 times a year. Pitchfire is a platform you can use every time a sales person is trying to cold prospect you to cut down interruptions. Most sales teams use software to reach out to you multiple times, and in most cases, using Pitchfire will stop most follow calls, emails, and messages.

1/85 of the vendors you send to Pitchfire may decide to put in a credit card and send you a pitch. In the event this happens, you can receive payment for answering that sales, even if the answer is "no."

We estimate you can stop an average 6-15 interruptions for each sales person you send to Pitchfire.

Getting started with Pitchfire's Outlook Inbox Add In.

Step 1:  Login to Pitchfire with their Microsoft account here.

We'll ask you to login with your work Microsoft 365 account. Make sure it is your primary work email address you use.

Your login should be the email you use during the workday.

Follow our steps for onboarding on Pitchfire, once you have nothing to do inside the app, jump to step 2.

Step 2: Download the Outlook Inbox Add In here.

NOTE: If you are reading this article and your organization installed Pitchfire for the whole org, you can skip to step 3.

Adding Pitchfire to your Outlook inbox will allow you to reply back to every email you receive.

You can download Pitchfire from the Microsoft Store for free.

If you have any issues with your install, contact your Microsoft Administrator. Otherwise, we're ready to see what Pitchfire looks like in Outlook.

Step 3: Pin the Pitchfire Inbox Plugin inside Outlook.

Open Outlook and click on the 4 box symbol in your Outlook web app or browser. You can see it in the image below:

This will allow you place a button right in your inbox to send salespeople to Pitchfire.

Note: Your Apps option box may be located in a different spot inside your Outlook instance.

Right click over the Pitchfire icon and click PIN.

You should now see the two flames icon in your Outlook. You have successfully setup Pitchfire.

So what happens now? How does Pitchfire work for me?

The Pitchfire Outlook Add-In allows you to promote your Pitchfire link in one click. This stops interruptions and follow calls, emails, and messages from sales people.

You'll just have to hit the REPLY with Pitchfire button every time you get a cold email from a sales person.

Any time there is a cold email, you can just reply by opening Pitchfire.

The Office Add-In automatically detects the cold email sender, their subject line, and creates a draft you can send in one click to thread the email, pulling you out of most sales automation.

In the event a vendor decides to go through the process and send you a pitch, we'll notify you and offer you a chance to answer the pitch. If they contact you again, just send them to Pitchfire again.

Remember, you get the same for saying "yes let's meet" as you do to not meet. You shouldn't let the money impact your decision making.

We'll send you a test email during onboarding. Be sure to open the extension, and reply back to us with the Pitchfire plugin.

If you get stuck or have any questions, please contact support.
